Test Description

Total fat is a measurement of the total dietary fat in a packaged food item. This is shown on the nutrition information panel as Total Fat and is comprised of total saturated fats, trans fats, polyunsaturated fats and monounsaturated fats.


Test Methodology

Acid hydrolysis followed by solvent extraction.
